MapCruzin.com has been online since the beginning of the internet. Our website enjoys thousands of visitors each day. Our emphasis has been on Right-To-Know, GIS (Geographic Information System) mapping, interactive web maps, toxics, environmental and social issues.

My focus during my studies at UCSC was on environmental justice and environmental history. Humboldt County if full of examples of environmental problems and solutions. I am looking forward to highlighting many of the environmental advancements on the North Coast and bringing these to a larger audience.

Some of the ways that we will do this is through photo galleries, web maps that visitors can use to navigate to various points in the County and links to the many businesses and services in the area that are interested in and help build a better quality of life here.
